The heartbreaking story of BARFI.!

Barfi the dog – A sweet, calm, innocent, super friendly dog who was a friend to everyone in the community. He resided in Mira Bhainder’s Queen’s Park area. Everyone fed him from their end and was loved by even the visitors of the area. But, just like in every fairy tale there’s a devil in BARFI’S life there was a devil.Yes you heard it right! DEVIL which was roaming free who had bad intentions for the pure soul like Barfi. His name is Saddam, Khayrul, Raju Gautam and the other 2 persons (identity unknown).On 15th September 2025 morning around 5 am Saddam and his partners brutally beat BARFI making him unconscious or maybe dead (still investigating). Saddam didn’t stop there he’s colleague went to the hotel where he works and brought the rice bag to put BARFI in it and took him to Bhainder’s Uttan area. All these incidents were watched by Chaiwala named Dhulia Mori as per his statement to police he tried to stop Saddam but he was powerless in front of him. These incidents he shared with everyday feeders Yash Singh, Saurabh, Swatantra, Ashish and they immediately rushed to the nearby office of Chief of Tathastu Foundation & MNS State Vice President of Roads and Infrastructure wing Mrs. Reshma Mohan Tapase and Secretary of Tathastu Foundation & City President of Roads and Infrastructure wing Mr. Swapnil Mohan Tapase; they immediately rushed to the location and started investigating on their end after confirming the news within no time Mrs. Reshma Tapase lodged a complaint in Kanakia Police station, Mira Road. Investigating officer API Pramod Patil started his job without wasting time, after investing by Kanakia Police station API Pramod Patil Saddam gave a statement mentioning BARFI is alive and he relocated him near Uttan’s Maxwell resort. Police took Saddam with them for the search however BARFI was not found. Meanwhile the news of BARFI’S missing spread at lighting speed and every animal lover/rescuer/NGO’s initiated their efforts. Pal foundation’s ACP SUDHIR KUDALKAR also shared the video and his foundation member Roshan Pathak also came forward and helped with legal sections and in the matter. After BARFI’S video went viral Bollywood Actress Jacqueline Fernandez raised concerns about BARFI’S missing. The F.I.R was registered on September 16, 2025 by Mrs. Reshma Tapase. On Sept 18, 2025 API PRAMOD PATIL along with Culprit Saddam and Secretary of Tathastu Foundation & MNS CITY PRESIDENT OF ROADS AND INFRASTRUCTURE WING Mr. Swapnil Tapase went again to the Maxwell, Uttan location to find BARFI but still there was no sign of BARFI. According to Chief of Tathastu Foundation & State Vice President of Roads and Infrastructure wing Mrs. Reshma Tapase, she has already requested Mira Bhainder Mahanagarpalika’s Health department to search for BARFI to which they responded actively and they all are searching Barfi alive/dead. Meanwhile police are questioning Saddam and his colleagues to find the truth about BARFI. Every animal is praying and searching for BARFI, we all hope to find him soon.
